Learning with LazyTown.
Good morning children,
How are you today? Hope you have entered, watched and played with everything related to LazyTown.
Now I have added more fun things to our blog, I have added a link to a spelling list of the words from our Healthy habits unit. On the page you can play a lot of games with the vocabulary to learn the forms and spelling correctly in a fun way. I have also added a help tool if you have hard time understanding "About LazyTown" you can copy the text to the link Rewordify under interesting sites on the left side, and the program changes all difficult words to easier words so you will understand the text better.
Next step is to choose your favorite person in the LazyTown TV show. The students that are working together can't choose the same character, because now you are going to create a conversation between the two persons. You have to be sure what your character likes to eat, to do and if he needs to change some of his daily habits to become healthy. Use the vocabulary from our unit in the conversation.
The last step is to realise a conversation. The best way is to write down the questions and answers and practice with you peer. Then you go interesting sites again and enter the link Firefox - Hello, you should use the browser Firefox to use this link. If you have the icon on the right side of your screen you just have to click on it and you can start your conversation. If not you should click our link and click try Firefox - Hello and all the steps are explained to put the icon in your browser. When you finish you send me the link of your conversation in a commentary in the blog. That way you can listen to all of your peer conversations and learn from each other. It will be great fun, don't be shy, we are learning with together! If you have some problem you don't want to put here just tell me and I will help you.
I am so excited to see the outcome!! Good luck!
Your teacher,
Gudrun Helga
